The collection was started to locate and maintain photographic images relating to the village of Upchurch, in the county of Kent, United Kingdom. There is now a large collection of images, some to view online. Also two publications which relate to these images; Upchurch in Old Picture Postcards and Otterham, Kent - Your Heritage.
The heritage web site has always been a none profit making, advert free, community web site, used by researchers and local residents.
My original web site; Upchurch Matters started 30 years ago, has been sold. This site, The Upchurch Collection has no connection what so ever, with the present commerical advert site, its content or management.
